PREMIUM CBD MADE WITH ❤️ IN EUGENE, OREGON

If you’ve just landed on our website, you may be wondering where to start. Tinctures, gummies, topicals...there's a lot to choose from!

At Kanibi, no matter what product you choose, you know you’re benefiting from high-quality CBD. That's because we use the same CBD for all of our products. Our hemp is grown domestically and organically, and we extract our CBD using clean CO2 technology.

But apart from that, what are the choices? Here, we’ll dive into the relative benefits of each of our products (and our two different types of CBD).

Full Spectrum vs. Isolate

We’ll start with the first question to ask - should you choose a full spectrum or isolate product? At Kanibi, we want to give our customers the option of the type of CBD you choose, and this is the choice that will help get you started on all the others.

So what’s the difference between isolate and full spectrum CBD?

Basically it comes down to the presence or absence of THC.

None of our products contain more than the legal limit of 0.3% (and if you check our lab reports, you’ll see that even the full spectrum products generally have much less than that).

Our full spectrum products do contain trace amounts of THC, though, along with other beneficial cannabinoids. Many people prefer to take full spectrum products since they more closely resemble the whole hemp plant that CBD comes from. All those cannabinoids working together may give a boost to the CBD (this is called the entourage effect).

However, some people really need to avoid THC, and that could be true for multiple reasons. If you need to be prepared for drug testing for work, then avoiding even trace amounts of THC is a really good idea. That’s because THC can build up in your fatty tissues, so even tiny amounts of it could cause problems if you take it regularly.

If a tiny amount of THC isn’t a problem for you, then you might want to try our full spectrum products first. Either way, it’s your choice! We want you to feel comfortable with whatever choice you make.

Tinctures

We offer a wide range of tinctures, both full spectrum and isolate. These are meant to be taken sublingually, which means you hold them under your tongue for a minute (or more if you’re really committed). The cannabinoids are absorbed through the blood vessels under the tongue, bringing them directly into the bloodstream.

The big benefit of tinctures is that they deliver one of the quickest onset times. This is because the CBD doesn’t have to processed through your digestive system (as our capsules and gummies do). You can expect the CBD to begin working within 30-40 minutes.

At that point, whatever CBD isn’t absorbed under your tongue is swallowed and slowly digested. So you experience a quicker onset at first, and then a more slow onset of the remaining cannabinoids later.

There’s a good reason that tinctures are one of the signature products of the CBD industry. They work quickly and with higher bioavailability than many other methods (which means that more of the cannabinoids are absorbed).

And unlike topicals (which we’ll cover a bit further down), tinctures deliver an all-over effect since the CBD enters into your bloodstream.

Organi Gummies and Softgels

Even though one of these products is clearly a lot more fun than the other, we’ll group the gummies and the softgels together since they are both products that you swallow. They differ in some important ways, though, so do keep reading.

The big benefit of CBD products that are digested is the slower release time. Like we mentioned, if you’re looking for a quicker onset time, then tinctures are the best way to go. But if you prefer something that will give you a long, slow release of CBD then either softgels or gummies are the way to go.

So what are the differences between the two?

Firstly, Organi Gummies are infused with 10 mg of CBD isolate. That means that they are THC-free. And you don’t have to take our word on it. We double test all our products and post Certificates of Assurance (COAs) on product pages. Check these out for peace of mind!

Our Softgels, on the other hand, utilize 25 mg of full spectrum CBD - so you get the CBD as well as the benefits of other cannabinoids that the hemp plant produces. Our softgels contain a combination of CBD oil and MCT oil (which is super healthy on its own and may help in the digestion process).

It’s worth noting that there is less CBD in the gummies - only 10 mg each. This allows you to adjust your dose (if you want a low dose). But, let’s be honest, it also means that you can eat a couple of these babies. And you’ll probably want to.

CBD Sports Cream

Last of all, we offer our Sports Cream, which is a favorite for a lot of us. This is your go-to product for quick relief. You don’t have to wait for it to be absorbed into your bloodstream because the CBD doesn’t need to make it to your bloodstream for this cream to be effective.

So what’s the trade-off? (There’s pretty much always a trade-off.) CBD topicals are for targeting localized trouble areas rather than providing all-over, whole body benefits. Scientists have discovered that our bodies have endocannabinoid receptors under our skin, and that’s what we’re targeting with our CBD cream.

It’s cooling, refreshing, and non-greasy. It’s also super easy to apply since it comes in our easy-to-use (and frankly, pretty cool looking) pump dispenser. Each pump delivers around 6-8 mg CBD, and there’s no messing around with droppers.

This is a full spectrum product, but because cannabinoids don’t enter the bloodstream through the skin (unless you’re using a transdermal patch), the presence of THC shouldn’t be a concern for anyone.

So there you have it! We hope this guide helps you to find the product that will work best for you. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact customer service!
