A full spectrum CBD oil contains components of the whole hemp plant (like other cannabinoids and terpenes), rather than just the single CBD molecule. Research suggests that cannabinoids like CBD work better when they are kept together with other cannabinoids and terpenes, meaning you may actually need to take less CBD if you’re using a full spectrum tincture.
Our tincture does contain very small amounts of THC, though, so if you are subject to drug testing, our THC free products (like our gummies) may be a better choice for you. There are also trace amounts of THC in our Sports Cream, but the cannabinoids are unlikely to be absorbed into your bloodstream so the THC should not be an issue.
If you’ve never tried CBD oil before, the best advice to follow is “start low, go slow.” So, for our CBD oil tincture, you could start with 10 mg once per day for a few days and see if that is working for you. If that’s not enough, try increasing your dose by five milligrams every five days. Make sure to keep track of how you’re feeling!
For the Sports Cream, we’d recommend one pump (6-8 mg of CBD) for localized pain. Wait a few minutes before deciding if you need more.
For the 750 mg tincture, each full dropper (1 mL) contains 25 milligrams of CBD. For the 1500 mg tincture, each dropper (1 mL) contains 50 mg of CBD. Our droppers are marked with measurements so you can see exactly how much you’re taking. The dropper will often only fill to .5 mL at a time.
It’s always a good idea to keep any CBD products in a room temperature, dark place (not the refrigerator or it will harden). Light and heat are the enemies of CBD longevity!
For our sublingual tincture, you can expect the CBD to begin to work within 20-30 minutes, with peak absorption at about one hour.
The CBD in the Sports Cream should start working within a few minutes since it doesn’t have to make its way into the bloodstream.
